To use your download-only ArtCAM Express or ArtCAM Insignia software on a new, modified or repaired computer, it is necessary for Autodesk Support to manually regenerate your ELF Licence file (*.elf) using recaptured fingerprint information. When installing your ArtCAM Express or ArtCAM Insignia download-only software on a new computer, your original ELF Licence file (*.elf) will be incompatible. The ELF Licence file (*.elf) supplied by Delcam was generated using fingerprint information captured from the computer on which the ArtCAM Express or ArtCAM Insignia download-only software was originally purchased or activated. Legacy ArtCAM Express and ArtCAM Insignia download-only software developed and sold by Delcam prior to August 2016 required an ELF Licence file (*.elf) it did not require a USB security-protection dongle or PAF Licence file (*.paf).
